How Much Does a Ragdoll Kitten Cost in Florida?Understanding Ragdoll kitten pricing

01 · Our Pricing

Our adoption fees vary by kitten

A $500 non-refundable deposit holds your kitten and is applied toward the total adoption fee at pickup. Current pricing is listed on each kitten’s profile.

Pricing can vary based on the individual kitten and documentation included. When a kitten is TICA registered or includes registration papers, we clearly note that on the kitten’s profile.

02 · Why Prices Vary

Why do some Ragdoll kittens cost $3,000, $4,000 or more?

Higher prices often reflect credentials and costs that may matter more to some buyers than others, including documented pedigrees, championship bloodlines, imported lines, show or breeding rights, association registration, genetic screening, and the expense of maintaining a formal pedigreed breeding program.

Those things can be important if you are specifically looking for a registered show cat, breeding cat, or documented pedigree. For a family looking primarily for a loving Ragdoll companion, they may not be the features that matter most.

03 · Our Approach

Clear pricing for each kitten

We list the adoption fee and any registration documentation directly on each available kitten’s profile so families can compare options clearly.

Registration status varies by kitten. We only describe a kitten as TICA registered when registration applies to that individual kitten and the stated papers are included.

Our focus remains on placing Ragdoll companions with families and providing clear information about what comes with each kitten.

04 · What's Included

What your adoption fee includes

Before going home, every Gulf Coast Ragdolls kitten receives a wellness examination by a licensed veterinarian, their first FVRCP vaccination, deworming, a fecal test, and a feline leukemia (FeLV) test.

Families also receive a Florida health certificate, full veterinary records, and a one-year health guarantee. Go-home timing varies by litter and is listed with our current availability.

We recommend establishing care with your own veterinarian within 30 days so they can continue the FVRCP series, plan rabies vaccination at the appropriate age, and discuss spay or neuter timing.

05 · Comparing Prices

Compare more than the number on the price tag

When comparing Ragdoll kitten prices in Florida, ask what the price includes. Look at veterinary care, health documentation, go-home age, how the kittens are raised and socialized, what support you receive after reservation, and whether registration or pedigree documentation is included.

A less expensive kitten is not automatically a bargain, and a more expensive kitten is not automatically the right fit. The goal is to understand what you are paying for and choose the breeder and kitten that match what matters to your family.
